Electrophysiology Technologist | Athens, Georgia

In this role, your expertise in electrophysiology procedures will contribute significantly to the diagnosis and treatment of complex cardiac arrhythmias under the guidance of skilled electrophysiologists.


Qualifications:

• Previous experience as an EP Tech in a clinical setting
• Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy and EP procedures
• Proficiency with EP lab equipment and monitoring systems
• Familiarity with sterile technique and radiation safety standards
• Certification in Electrophysiology Technology preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
• Detail-oriented with strong communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians during complex EP studies and ablation procedures
• Operate and troubleshoot EP lab equipment including recording, mapping, and ablation systems
• Monitor and document patient vital signs and responses during procedures
• Ensure adherence to safety and infection control protocols throughout procedures
• Prepare and maintain the electrophysiology lab for daily operations
• Accurately document procedure information in electronic health records
• Provide immediate response to procedural emergencies within the scope of practice
