Scaffold E&D Foreman 2

Position Summary Scaffold E&D Foreman 2. Safely and effectively supervise a crew or supervise and direct up to three Foreman 1, each of whom may supervise up to three Lead Carpenters, to erect and dismantle various types of scaffolding without the direct and continuous supervision of the E&D Supervisor or E&D Construction Manager. Responsibilities Act as competent person on site as required by OSHA and Sunbelt Competent Person Procedures. Oversee the safe erection and dismantling of scaffolding, ensuring compliance with safety rules and load limits. Manage time, schedule, cost control, and customer communication, identifying problem areas and implementing solutions. Maintain knowledge of OSHA rules and regulations regarding scaffolding and the various types of scaffolding materials used. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum five years combined experience as Scaffold E&D Carpenter, Scaffold E&D Lead Carpenter, and Scaffold E&D Foreman 1 (or approved equivalent experience). Trade school training preferred but not required. Valid driver’s license. Bilingual language skills are a plus. Skills & Abilities Project management skills – time and schedule management, cost control, customer communication. Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations for scaffolding. Comprehensive understanding of scaffolding materials and load limits. Ability to work comfortably and safely at considerable heights. Physical Demands Bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, and lifting 40 pounds or more. Work may be performed indoors or outdoors as required by the job. Base Pay Base pay range: $24.05 - 30.06 per hour. Starting rate may vary by location, education, training, and experience.
