When Delivery Matters… Job Summary The Scheduling Administrator works closely to assist the Production Scheduler in covering the planning, scheduling, releasing and tracking of irradiation workflow from the sales department through the manufacturing plant. This position reports directly to the production scheduler. Essential Functions: Assists in the following tasks: Enter special orders for stock or rework into the Rubicon system. Coordinate with purchasing department to expedite raw materials when needed. Coordinate the production, shipment and receipt of material that require processes from outside sources. I.e. Irradiation Coordinating with sales team on tracking or expediting orders relevant to irradiation processing. Knowledge: Has a basic knowledge of the manufacturing processes (i.e., extrusion, twinning, cabling, braiding, taping, etc.) Basic knowledge of the manufacturing machines in the Valparaiso plant, understanding the basic capabilities Understands raw materials needed for the manufacture of wire and cable.
