We are currently in need of a Production Manager with the following:

 

JOB DUTIES:

 

· Liaise with Foreman, other supervisors and leads to formulate objectives and understand requirements

· Organize workflow to meet project specifications and deadlines

· Allocating general and daily responsibilities

· Ability to train employees in all aspects of the production floor

· Documents all aspects of Quality Control throughout the build process

· Responsible for Quality Control Binder completion by department

· Enforce health and safety precautions

· Maintain, update, and adhere to all SOPs

· Ability to communicate and report effectively to employees and management

· Work with Engineering dept. on final schematics.

· Responsible for hiring, reviews, and write-ups.

· Supervise and evaluate the performance of production personnel.

· Must be able to work on projects when needed physically

· Keep a positive attitude but administer when necessary.

· Determine the necessary resources (workforce, raw materials, etc.)

· Approve maintenance work, equipment purchasing, etc.

· Ensure output meets quality standards

· Enforce health and safety precautions

· Report to upper management

 

 

ABILITIES:

· Proven experience as a production manager.

· Deep knowledge of production management

· Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations

· Knowledge of performance evaluation.

· Proficient in MS Office and ERP software

· Outstanding communication ability

· Excellent organizational and leadership skills

· Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach

· Must be reliable

· Ability to multi-task

· Must be a self-starter and motivator

· Work in a fast-paced team environment

· Must be a team player with a positive attitude

· Must have strong attention to detail and keep the work area clean and orderly

· Must be able to work in a non-climate-controlled environment where ambient air temperature can exceed outside air temperature.

· Must be able to bend at the waist and knees and stand for extended periods of time.

· Must be able to climb into and out of the interior of specialty vehicles

· Must be able to wear proper safety equipment.

· Climb up and down stairs.

· Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

 

EXPERIENCE:

Minimum three (3) years of Production Management experience. Manufacturing preferred.

 

EDUCATION:

College or equivalent. BS/BA in business administration or relevant field is preferred
