Position Overview

We are on the lookout for a dedicated and insightful Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to join our esteemed imaging team. Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a wide array of ultrasound examinations, including but not limited to abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Foster patient comfort and safety throughout each examination, clearly explaining procedures with empathy and professionalism
• Engage with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver precise diagnostic images
• Maintain and operate ultrasound equipment, promptly reporting any issues that arise
• Accurately document imaging procedures and maintain electronic patient records diligently
• Stay informed and implement advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
