We are an inclusive team of unique individuals who show up each day with a grateful spirit, humble heart, and a genuine respect for one another.**SUMMARY**Kids Club provides a supervised space designed to engage children in fun, educational and age-appropriate activities. Kids Club provides a safe environment where kids can socialize, learn and play while exploring creative projects, games, or team building exercises. Kids Club includes, dinner, arts and crafts, games and if the weather permits outside adventures.**Essential Functions:*** Supervision: Ensure the safety of children and maintain a secure environment* Organization: Plan activities, such as arts and crafts, games, reading, and singing* Maintenance: Keep equipment and facilities clean and well-maintained* Sign-in and sign-out: Manage the sign-in and sign-out sheets* Childcare: Provide childcare, including paging parents if needed* Recognizes and resolves individual or group issues or problems.* Set and take down of supplies and space.* Ensures a pleasant visit for each guest; maintains effective guest relations.* Performs special projects delegated by management.**QUALIFICATIONS**To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.**Must be available Friday evenings.****EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE****Applicants must hold a current First Aid/CPR/AED card. We will provide training for certifications.** Proven child care skills; and demonstrated outstanding customer service. Must possess willingness to learn and perform new child care programs and activities, excellent communication and organizational skills, attention to detail, drive and motivation. Flexibility with schedule with evenings and weekend work required. **LANGUAGE SKILLS**Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to read and interpret retail product labeling. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or associates of organization.**REASONING ABILITY**Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.**PHYSICAL DEMANDS**The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The associate must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
