HR Coordinator

Our client in Buffalo, NY, is looking for a contract HR Coordinator to join their team! This is onsite/full-time/3-6 month contract position. Hourly based on experience: $23-$25/HR Primary Responsibilities: Screens applicants based on job description and departmental needs. Schedule and attend all in-person and virtual interviews to ensure compliance. Process background checks through the background check provider platform. Process onboarding for new hires and compile all new hire paperwork. Conduct new hire orientations on new employees' first day. Coordinate the performance review process. Send new hire bios on the new employees' first day. Prepare and send birthday announcements. Process employee perk raffle prizes. Manage the company merch inventory. Assist the HR Generalist with payroll and 401 (k) functions as needed. Preferred Qualifications: BA/BS in Human Resources with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a related area. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. The ability to problem-solve and seek resolution to issues as they arise. Strong communication and teamwork skills. The ability to research and analyze information to be applied to situations.
