The Learning Experience in New Albany, OH is looking for a passionate and nurturing Childcare Teacher to join our growing team! Responsibilities:

• Implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development
• Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment for children
• Monitor and document child progress, behavior, and milestones
• Communicate regularly and effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's development
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom in compliance with licensing and health standards
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to support a positive learning community
• Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities, meals, and transitions

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required; associate's or bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
• Previous experience in a childcare, preschool, or early education setting preferred
• Knowledge of child development principles and age-appropriate teaching strategies
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with children, parents, and staff
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to pass a background check in accordance with state childcare licensing requirements
• Patient, compassionate, and enthusiastic demeanor with a genuine love for working with children
