Construction Superintendent

Lead daily field operations for a top ENR Chicago general contractor who has been in the industry for 100+ years. You will be working with leadership to lead some of their most exciting industrial and commercial projects to date with some of their biggest clients. You will also have the chance to mentor, train, and truly shape how field operations are structured and operated. Description As the Construction Superintendent, you will lead field operations and oversee project execution from mobilization through final completion. Key responsibilities include: Manage all day-to-day construction activities on assigned projects Lead projects from preconstruction planning through closeout Drive project schedules and coordinate field operations to meet milestones Supervise subcontractors, craftsmen, and self-perform crews Coordinate and manage concrete scopes of work throughout project execution Create and maintain short-term and long-term construction schedules Deliver projects safely, on time, and within quality expectations Operate as the primary field leader and point of coordination on-site Conduct subcontractor meetings, safety meetings, and planning sessions Review drawings, specifications, and project documents Profile 3+ years of experience as a Superintendent, Lead Superintendent, or Construction Superintendent Experience leading projects from groundbreaking through final completion Background in commercial construction, industrial construction, or education construction Experience managing field operations on large-scale construction projects Experience working with self-perform construction crews Concrete construction experience strongly preferred Job Offer Competitive salary of $120,000 - $140,000 (based on experience) Truck or Car Allowance provided + fuel card Annual performance bonuses and guaranteed project completion bonuses.
