Overview

In this Physical Therapist travel contract , you will evaluate and treat patients based on physician orders, develop individualized care plans, and help patients achieve greater independence and function. You will manage a clustered travel territory, collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, and provide high-quality patient care across a 13-week assignment.

• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,770-$1,900
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., no weekends
• Shift Duration: 8-hour shifts
• Hours per Week: 40
• Territory: Clustered daily travel with routes approximately 100-120 miles per day across nearby counties

Job Requirements

• Active Physical Therapist license in Arkansas
• At least 1 year of physical therapy experience required
• Home health experience required
• Experience with HCHB and OASIS documentation preferred
• Strong assessment, care planning, and clinical documentation skills
• Ability to work independently and manage a travel-based caseload
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Perform physical therapy evaluations and treatments based on physician referrals and orders
• Complete comprehensive assessments using appropriate clinical tools and procedures
• Review patient history, precautions, contraindications, and current diagnoses before treatment
• Develop measurable goals and treatment plans to improve independence and function
• Reassess patient progress regularly and adjust plans of care as needed
• Communicate patient needs, progress, and discharge planning with the care team, physician, and family members as appropriate
• Recommend and assist with adaptive equipment to support mobility and daily function
• Maintain timely evaluation, treatment, and billing documentation in compliance with all applicable regulations and policies
• Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants and Physical Therapy Aides in accordance with state practice guidelines
• Participate in staff development, meetings, and continuing education to maintain and strengthen clinical skills
