Highlights Pay: $85.9387/hour Location: New York, NY Facility: Mount Sinai Hospital Department/Unit: Pediatric Hem/Oncology Schedule: Per Diem, Day shift What You'll Do Deliver patient care incorporating Relationship Centered Care and nursing process. Assess and evaluate patient care needs using critical thinking skills. Integrate relevant assessment and intervention skills in nursing care delivery. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team on care plans. Prioritize patient care aspects including teaching and planning post‑hospital care. Educate patients and caregivers about their care plans and health promotion. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and care team members. Manage assignments within the Care Delivery Model of Modified Primary Nursing. Role model the tenets of Mount Sinai Relationship Centered Care. Establish and maintain therapeutic relationships with patients and families. Requirements Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) required Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) with matriculation in a BSN program acceptable Experience: 2 years of Pediatric Hem/Oncology RN experience required Licenses & Certifications: Current RN License in New York State BLS and PALS certification from the American Heart Association required #J-18808-Ljbffr IntelliResume
