Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including physical examinations and thorough reviews of medical histories.
• Assist in the evaluation and diagnosis of surgical conditions through the interpretation of imaging studies and laboratory results.
• Work closely with surgeons to create and implement personalized surgical treatment plans for patients.
• Provide essential support during surgeries, including preparing the operating rooms and ensuring proper patient positioning while expertly managing surgical instruments.
• Deliver exceptional pre- and post-operative care, which includes medication administration, wound management, discharge planning, and patient education.

Required Qualifications

• A Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Preferred completion of clinical rotations with a focus on surgical settings.

Certifications

• Possession of a current and unrestricted PA-C certification.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant.
