Inventory Control Coordinator

Zimmer Biomet seeks an Inventory Control Coordinator to manage field and distributor inventory operations in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The role involves system monitoring, inventory reconciliation, variance investigation, and cross-departmental collaboration to optimize stock levels and protect company assets.

Responsibilities Monitor and manage inventory through SMS, ZSIS, DCS, and Fed-ex systems for loan, receipt, shipment, and issuance Investigate inventory variances and discrepancies; identify root causes and recommend solutions across departments Generate weekly and monthly inventory reports; reconcile missing or late reports daily Facilitate return and exchange of expired or calibrated products between warehouse and field personnel Conduct cycle counts and coordinate inventory outflow logging; support asset placement and recovery efforts Requirements High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience Intermediate to advanced MS Excel proficiency One to two years warehouse or inventory control experience preferred Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently Analytical skills in process improvement and problem-solving Capable of managing multiple concurrent tasks independently
