Growth Marketing & Content Specialist (San Diego Metropolitan Area)

We’re looking for a hands-on  Growth Marketing & Content Specialist who can turn established marketing strategies and ideas into high-quality creative and execution across  social media, email and paid advertising .

This is not a traditional social media scheduling role. We’re looking for someone who can  create the content, design the creative, write the copy, launch campaigns and understand the performance.

You’ll work with an experienced marketing team, established brands, existing campaigns and historical performance data. You won’t be starting from scratch—we’ll provide direction and proven frameworks, while giving you significant responsibility for execution.

Responsibilities:

Social & Content

• Create and manage social content for multiple brands
• Produce posts, Reels, short-form video, graphics and promotional content
• Write captions, hooks and calls-to-action
• Manage content calendars and scheduling
• Repurpose existing content and successful campaigns

Email Marketing

• Create and design email campaigns
• Develop email copy, subject lines and creative
• Build campaigns from existing marketing strategies and successful historical campaigns
• Work in platforms such as Klaviyo, Mailchimp or Omnisend
• Review results and improve future campaigns

Paid Social

• Assist with Facebook and Instagram advertising
• Create ad creative and copy
• Develop creative variations for testing
• Monitor CTR, CPC, CPM, conversion rate and ROAS
• Help identify and scale winning creative

Creative Design

• Create polished marketing assets using Canva, Adobe, CapCut, Figma or similar tools
• Maintain brand consistency across social, email and advertising
• Strong visual judgment and attention to detail are essential

AI & Modern Marketing

We use AI to increase marketing speed and scale. Experience with tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Canva AI, CapCut, Adobe Firefly, Midjourney or similar platforms is a strong plus.

Ideal Candidate

• Approximately 2–5 years of hands-on marketing experience
• Strong social content and creative skills
• Experience creating email campaigns
• Experience with Meta/Facebook/Instagram advertising
• Strong design capabilities
• Ecommerce, DTC or consumer-brand experience preferred
• Comfortable managing multiple brands/projects
• Able to work independently and turn direction into finished work

Golf industry experience is a strong plus but not required . A genuine interest in golf and familiarity with the golf consumer is important.
