You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing some or all of the following duties: 1) Interpreting and applying specifications and other technical data is required to make necessary revisions to quality checklists. 2) Programing and calibrating computerized inspection equipment including CMM and optical emission analyzers. 3) Traveling to external contractors to monitor and inspect product conformance and quality. 4) Planning and implementing appropriate procedures during prototype, pre-production, and production. 5) Monitoring programs for controlling the accuracy of test and measuring equipment as well as the quality of materials and supplies required to support ALRE and SE production and prototype activities. Education In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D., if related A transcript must be submitted with your application if qualifying using education. Individual Occupational Requirements Education Undergraduate and Graduate Education: Major study -- quality assurance, statistics, mathematics, production management, industrial management, computer science, engineering, engineering technology, physical sciences, textiles, or other fields related to the position. or Experience Specialized Experience: Experience that demonstrated a practical knowledge in monitoring, controlling, or maintaining the quality of products or services in quality assurance, procurement, inspection, production, or related areas.
