Step into an impactful RN Operating Room position with a high-acuity surgical team known for its commitment to cutting-edge patient care and advanced transplant procedures. In this contract role, youll support surgeons and multidisciplinary colleagues during complex organ transplants, including liver, heart, lung, and kidney, at a respected and expanding teaching facility.

Schedule & Hours:

• Day shift, 4x10-hour (06:45 17:15)
• Liver transplant call required; additional cases as needed if no liver/transplant
• 1 on-call shift per week and two 12-hour weekend shifts per month (details in interview)
• Guaranteed 40 hours/week for 10-hour shifts

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of direct experience in an OR setting with liver and transplant surgery is essential
• Documented proficiency assisting with organ re-implantation (not solely procurement)
• Strong abilities in MISONIX/CUSA technology
• Active and current ACLS and BLS certifications at submission; NIHSS certification (or obtained prior to start)
• All requested time off must be confirmed at application; RTO after submission is unlikely to be approved
• Willingness to float within OR scope to meet patient care needs
• Smoke-free: Candidates must pass a nicotine screening
• Pending state license accepted

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and circulate in high-level organ transplant surgeries, ensuring safety and sterile technique
• Anticipate surgeon needs during complex procedures and respond to rapidly changing situations
• Collaborate closely with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and surgical techs to optimize outcomes
• Prioritize and complete mandatory facility modules promptly after assignment confirmation
• Support teaching efforts in a Magnet-recognized learning environment
