School Aide

Amergis Staffing is currently seeking School Instructional Aides to assist students either 1:1 or in a small group setting in a classroom setting within the Orange County region for the current 26/27 school year. The Instructional Aide position involves supervision as well as utilization of language skills, mathematical skills, and reasoning skills, while planning and implementing lessons based on division and school objectives. This position does require previous experience working with kids in a professional setting (ex: daycare, afterschool program, etc.) Requirements Experience working with children and comfortable working within the Special Education Department Schedule Options: Option 1 - Ongoing Assignments Monday - Friday ongoing assignments available -- must be available all days between 7:30am-3:45pm. Hours average 28-30 hours a week (about 5-6 hours a day) Schedule would either be 1:1 with a student or classroom support Option 2 - On-Call Sub Assignments If only available 1-4 days between Monday - Friday, we do have on-call sub positions available. Must be available between 7:30am-3:45pm on the days you are available to sub in where needed (within your comfortable commute range) Must be flexible and willing to support all ages Shifts are on average 4-6 hours a day If not called by 9am the morning of, support is not needed and you are free to pplan your day. What We Offer: Pay Rate: $20 - $ 22 / hour DOE Weekly Pay, every Friday! Weekends and Holidays off! Please note that this pay range represents a good faith estimate of the compensation that will be offered for this position based on the circumstances. The actual pay offered to a successful candidate will take into account a wide range of factors, including but not limited to location, experience, and other variable factors.
