Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and vigilant Security Officer to safeguard our premises, assets, and personnel. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment through vigilant surveillance, conflict management, and emergency response. Your dedication will ensure the safety of everyone on-site while upholding the highest standards of security protocols. PAID TRAINING

Shifts

7am-7pm: 4 days on 4 days off schedule

7pm-7am: 4 days on, 4 days off schedule.

Overtime available. 1099 option available.

Duties

• Control access points by verifying identification and authorizations for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors.
• Respond swiftly and effectively to incidents or emergencies, including medical situations requiring CPR or first aid.
• Enforce security policies and procedures to prevent theft, vandalism, or unauthorized entry.
• Maintain detailed incident reports, shift logs, and security records accurately and promptly.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of surveillance systems such as CCTV and alarm systems.
• Certified in first aid and CPR to provide immediate assistance in medical emergencies.
• Experience or background in law enforcement or military service is highly desirable.
• Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Familiarity with loss prevention techniques to deter theft and protect assets.
• Ability to operate computers, printers and mobile phone effectively and follow detailed protocols.
