Vice President, Global Medical Lead - MASH
Madrigal Pharmaceuticals
Madrigal Pharmaceuticals seeks a Vice President to lead global medical strategy for its MASH portfolio, including the FDA-approved Rezdiffra. The role directs integrated evidence generation, scientific engagement, and lifecycle planning while managing a team of Medical Directors across all priority markets and product stages.
Responsibilities
- Own integrated global medical strategy and plan for MASH portfolio across all product lifecycle stages
- Lead evidence strategy development, prioritization of clinical questions, and stakeholder engagement planning
- Align medical perspectives across functions including Medical Affairs, Commercial, R&D, and Market Access
- Manage team of Medical Directors supporting MASH and drive execution of coordinated strategy
- Serve as primary medical representative on Global Brand Team and lifecycle planning forums
Requirements
- Proven leadership experience in pharmaceutical medical affairs or medical strategy roles
- Deep expertise in hepatology, metabolic disease, or related therapeutic areas
- Track record building and leading high-performing medical teams
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with R&D, commercial, and market access functions
- Experience developing integrated evidence and publication strategies
- Knowledge of global healthcare systems, market dynamics, and regulatory environments
- Demonstrated ability with strategic planning, prioritization, and portfolio management
