Job Brief
Kable Workforce Solutions is hiring a Press Brake Operator for our client. This position is responsible for setting up, operating, and adjusting CNC hydraulic press brakes to fabricate precision metal components according to engineering drawings and production specifications.

What’s a Typical Day Like?

• Set up and operate CNC hydraulic press brake machines to produce metal parts according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions.
• Install, adjust, and replace punches, dies, and tooling as required for each job.
• Make X, Y, and Z axis adjustments to ensure accurate bends and dimensional tolerances.
• Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections using precision measuring instruments.
• Use micrometers, calipers, tape measures, and gauges to verify part dimensions and quality.
• Monitor machine performance and make program or tooling adjustments as needed.
• Perform routine machine setup, troubleshooting, and basic preventive maintenance.
• Verify completed parts meet quality standards and customer specifications.
• Maintain accurate production records and complete required documentation.
• Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What Are the Requirements of the Job?

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous experience operating CNC hydraulic press brakes required.
• Experience installing and adjusting punches, dies, and press brake tooling.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong mathematical, measuring, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency using micrometers, calipers, tape measures, and precision measuring tools.
• Experience making machine offsets and X, Y, and Z axis adjustments.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50+ lbs.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, kneel, reach, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
• Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination required for machine setup and precision measurements.
• Ability to safely operate press brake equipment and material handling devices.
• Manufacturing and metal fabrication facility.
• Frequent exposure to moving machinery, metal materials, lubricants, and moderate to loud noise.
• Required use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, and steel-toe footwear.
• Team-oriented environment focused on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
