We are seeking a Vascular Sonographer for our team to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. Did you get into our industry for these reasons? As a Vascular Sonographer, you would perform non-invasive ultrasound procedures while recognizing sonographic characteristics of normal and abnormal tissue, structures and blood flow. You will adjust scanning techniques to optimize image quality and spectral waveform, perform measurements and calculations according to laboratory protocol.

You would analyze sonographic findings throughout the course of the examination to complete the comprehensive exam and provide sufficient data to the physician to render a final diagnosis. Initiate additional scanning techniques or administer contrast agents as indicated by the examination and according to established laboratory policy and procedure. You would notify appropriate personnel when procedural findings are significant and or patient condition is of concern.

What qualifications you will need:

• Graduate from an accredited Cardiovascular Technology or Nursing Program
• Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Registered Vascular Sonographer

Hours: Full time, day shift
