Pre-Access Specialist
Virtual Vocations Inc
Responsible for accurate insurance verification and pre-registration, the full-time Pre-Access Specialist II will utilize automated tools and payer websites to manage authorizations and communicate with patients regarding their financial responsibilities while working remotely Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm. Key responsibilities Obtain insurance verification and benefits, preparing estimates for scheduled services and notifying patients of applicable out-of-pocket costs Secure necessary authorizations for various medical visits and accurately document all related information Organize and prioritize daily work activities to ensure timely completion of tasks Required qualifications Experience in insurance verification and authorization processes Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) and automated verification tools Ability to effectively communicate with patients, insurance companies, and clinical personnel Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing workload Participation in ongoing educational programs to maintain competency in the field
