Job Title: Cook – Assisted Living Facility Location: Manistee MI Position Type: Full Time/Part Time Shift: Morning, Evening, Weekends/rotating About Us: Maple Ridge Manor is a caring and vibrant assisted living community committed to providing high-quality care and a warm, home-like atmosphere for our residents. We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Cook to join our dietary team and help us provide nutritious, well-balanced meals for our residents. Job Responsibilities: Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and dietary needs of residents (including special diets: diabetic, low-sodium, etc.) Ensure food is prepared safely, hygienically, and to high quality standards Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment in compliance with health and safety regulations Assist in menu planning and inventory control as needed Work cooperatively with other kitchen staff and caregivers Interact respectfully and professionally with residents and staff Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and infection control standards Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent preferred Prior cooking experience in a healthcare, senior living, or institutional setting preferred Knowledge of special dietary requirements and food safety regulations Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks Must be able to pass background check and health screening (TB test, etc.) Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods Lift up to 30–50 lbs occasionally Perform repetitive motions such as chopping, stirring, lifting, and cleaning Benefits: Competitive pay Aflac Paid time off (PTO) Training and advancement opportunities Positive and supportive work environment Flexible Schedule Apply today! #J-18808-Ljbffr
