Job Description

As a Registered Nurse in the Telemetry unit, you will provide expert care for patients with cardiac conditions, including those recovering from procedures and surgeries. You will work in a high-paced environment, monitoring vital signs and managing drips. Familiarity with Epic charting will be an asset in this role.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients' vital signs and cardiac rhythms.
• Administer medications and manage IVs, including cardiac and vasoactive drips.
• Utilize telemetry equipment for patient monitoring.
• Perform necessary procedures, such as arterial line management, phlebotomy, and hemodialysis management.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety while adhering to isolation protocols.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a telemetry or similar nursing role.
• Previous charge experience is preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current RN license in Kansas or eNLC (Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact) license.
• ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
