RN Manager Special Care Nursery FT Days

Position Summary This role provides leadership and support to the senior executive (CNO) responsible for all nursing and other designated patient care functions/services within the hospital organization. The role will assist in assessing, planning, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating nursing practice on a unit level, and will assume 24/7 responsibility for the manager’s assigned areas. The role is accountable to support the CNO in ensuring high‑quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care, competency of clinical staff, and appropriate resource management related to patient care. Onboarding Process Candidates must successfully complete a background check and pre‑employment health screening, which includes a drug screen. Responsibilities Active and current registered nurse license in the state of residence/practice. Has highly effective interpersonal and communication skills, proven leadership ability and hospital operational ability, and ability to serve as a role model and advocate for the professional discipline of nursing. Qualifications Education: Required: Academic degree in nursing. Bachelor’s Degree required or commitment to obtain within 2 years. Preferred: Bachelor’s or master’s degree. Experience: Required: 2 years of progressive management experience in a hospital environment as a manager or full‑time charge nurse/ related position. Experience: Required: 2 years of Special Care Nursery experience. Bonus Up to $15,000 Sign‑on Bonus based on eligibility.
