We are a modern CPA firm focused on delivering proactive, high-value advisory and accounting services that help our clients make better decisions and grow with confidence. As we expand our footprint in Murrieta/Temecula Valley, California, we are seeking an experienced CPA Manager to help build and support our presence in Murrieta/Temecula Valley.This is an ideal opportunity for a technically strong, self-directed professional who enjoys ownership of client relationships, mentoring team members, and working across the full lifecycle of accounting and tax engagements.*What You’ll Do*As a Manager at SKC, you will own client engagements from start to finish, including:Managing the full client accounting and tax cycle—from bank reconciliations through financial reporting, tax projections, and tax preparationPreparing and reviewing business and individual tax returnsServing as the primary point of contact for client relationshipsProviding proactive tax planning and strategic guidanceEnsuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of client deliverablesMentoring and supporting less experienced team membersCollaborating with partners and team members to continuously improve processes and client experienceLeveraging technology to increase efficiency and enhance service delivery*What You Bring***Experience & Credentials**Active CPA license required10+ years of progressive public accounting experienceStrong technical expertise in accounting and California state taxationDemonstrated experience managing engagements independently**Professional Strengths**Self-starter with strong self-management skillsOwnership mindset—takes responsibility for client relationships and outcomesTeam-oriented and willing to jump in wherever neededStrong mentor who enjoys supporting and developing othersComfortable working across all levels of engagement, from detailed accounting work to high-level advisoryTechnologically fluent and open to learning new tools and processesStrong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills*Why SKC*Flexible schedule (full-time or part-time options available)Hybrid work environmentOpportunity to help build and shape our Murrieta presenceCollaborative, supportive team cultureOpportunity to work closely with leadership and make a meaningful impactModern, technology-forward firm focused on advisory and client success*About SKC & Co.
