Job Description Job Description Position Summary As a Line Cook at The Little Room, you will play a crucial role in our kitchen team by cooking and preparing menu items. You will be responsible for stocking food preparation stations, following recipes accurately, and ensuring a clean and organized working environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Follow safe food service protocols in accordance with Health Department standards Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with company standards Support the Head Chef by following directions and completing assigned tasks Stock and organize food preparation stations before and after each shift Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistency in food quality Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment by following food safety regulations Collaborate with kitchen team members to ensure timely and efficient service Assist with inventory management and rotating stock as needed Minimum Qualifications Minimum of one to three years of restaurant experience required Experience in food preparation and presentation required CA Food Handler certification required Previous experience managing cost controls Desire to learn and grow with a top-notch foodservice company Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays Strong English language skills preferred, bilingual a plus The Little Room is dedicated to fostering a fair and inclusive work environment for all employees and applicants.
