Quality Engineer 1

Key Responsibilities

• Perform software integration testing , functional testing , and test automation
• Analyze and diagnose test failures , defects, and quality issues
• Design, develop, and automate new test cases
• Escalate and report key quality issues, driving root-cause analysis and resolution
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across multiple geographic regions
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and automation frameworks

Minimum Requirements

• 2+ years of professional experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test or Software Quality Engineer.
• Experience programming or scripting in Python
  • Bonus: Experience with Swift
• Hands-on experience with test planning , test design , test case authoring , manual testing , and using test automation frameworks
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in AI product testing , dataset collection, and metrics reporting
• Ability to write shell scripts and familiarity with Xcode
• Ability to modify existing iOS applications or automation code
• Strong ability to analyze and identify root causes in multi-tiered, client–server environments
• Knowledge of logging systems , analytics tools, or monitoring systems
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Self-motivated, curious, proactive, and focused on delivering high-quality results
• Experience with virtual assistants , voice platforms, or conversational technologies is a plus

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Cupertino, CA.

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $45.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
