ELECTRICAL DESIGNER (MEP)
REVIT | BUILDING SYSTEMS | ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING
A growing engineering and design firm is seeking an experienced Electrical Designer to support the design of commercial and institutional building systems. Competitive compensation based on experience, with a comprehensive benefits package!
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design electrical and technology systems for building projects.
- Prepare construction drawings using Revit and AutoCAD.
- Design power distribution, lighting, lighting controls, grounding, fire alarm, telecommunications, security, and other low-voltage systems.
- Coordinate with engineers, architects, and other design disciplines.
- Perform field investigations and occasional construction site visits.
- Review submittals and support projects through construction.
- Apply knowledge of the NEC, NFPA, and applicable codes.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of electrical and/or technology design experience.
- Strong Revit proficiency required.
- Experience with AutoCAD and building electrical systems.
- Knowledge of NEC and NFPA standards.
- Bachelor's degree, FE/EIT, PE-track status, or certifications such as RCDD or LEED are preferred.
