Production Operator - 2nd Shift

With nearly 6,000 associates across 24 locations worldwide, we offer a unique combination of small-company service and attention with big-company resources.Hours: Monday – Friday / 2nd shift (3:30pm-12am) / Occasional OTStarting at $18.00 + shift differential!About the role:As a Production Operator you will be responsible for ensuring that assigned machines/equipment produce product at or above department standards. Responsible to produce, assemble, inspect and pack all parts as per the work instructions for each assigned task or machine. Maintain all required paperwork and documentation to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and ISO 13485:2016 standards.What you'll do:Operate machines while maintaining productivity, efficiency and product quality.Perform visual inspection and testing to ensure all products meet quality standards.Reporting data collection and coordinating with mold techs or maintenance for machine errors.Separate parts from runners by visually examining for: flow lines, long gates, shorts, splaying, flash, etc. Trim and clip excess plastic from parts as needed.Uses visual inspection and automated equipment to check conformance to customer requirements.Drive the continuous flow of product from the injection molding machines to all other work areas.Document hourly and daily production numbers to supervisor using good documentation practices.Package parts in bags, totes or boxes as applicable.Provide breaks as required by lead or supervisor.Other duties as assigned.Requirements:High School Diploma or GED equivalent.Minimum of one year experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Injection molding background is a plus.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work well independently and with fellow team members.Attention to detail and quality procedures.Benefits:New employees are eligible for the following benefits effective date of hire!Medical, dental, and vision benefitsCompany-paid life insurance and disability benefitsGenerous Paid time off and 11 paid Holidays401k Plan with Company MatchTuition ReimbursementVoluntary Universal Life and Long-Term CareVoluntary Legal PlanPet InsuranceHome Ownership ProgramViant provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, age, disability, marital status, amnesty, or status as a covered veteran in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
