We are seeking a motivated CNC Laser Operator to join a growing manufacturing team in Garden Grove! This position focuses on CNC laser cutting and metal fabrication, including creating and editing machine programs, supporting production, and ensuring parts meet quality specifications. Pay: $25–$30 per hour, depending on experience
Shift: 2nd Shift | 2:00 PM–10:30 PM
Job Overview
We are looking for someone who has experience programming CNC laser-cutting machines used to cut metal sheets or parts. This person needs to understand how to read technical drawings, create or modify cutting programs, operate or support the machines, and make sure the finished parts meet specifications.
Responsibilities- Create, edit, and maintain CNC laser-cutting programs for metal parts
- Read blueprints, technical drawings, and measurements to ensure accurate production.
- Assist with machine setups, production support, and troubleshooting.
- Inspect finished parts using measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
- Identify quality issues and make adjustments to improve accuracy and efficiency.
- Maintain accurate production, programming, and inspection records.
1-3 years of related CNC programming, laser cutting, metal fabrication, or related manufacturing experience preferred.
Familiarity with CAD/CAM software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA, or similar programs.
Ability to read blueprints and understand dimensions and tolerances.
Knowledge of CNC machine controls, including Fanuc or similar systems, is a plus.
Familiarity with precision measuring tools and quality inspection.
Strong attention to detail, troubleshooting skills, and willingness to learn.
Entry-level and less-experienced candidates with relevant technical skills or related CNC experience are encouraged to apply. Candidates with stronger laser programming experience may qualify for the higher end of the pay range.
