AR/AP Manager

About the Role We are looking for a driven and experienced Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable Manager to lead our AR and AP functions and help strengthen our financial operations. This role plays a key part in improving cash flow, enhancing processes, and leading a high performing team in a fast paced environment. You will partner closely with Sales, Operations, Purchasing, and Finance to improve visibility, streamline workflows, and drive better business outcomes. What You Will Do Accounts Receivable Leadership Lead collections efforts and work directly with customers on past due accounts Partner with Sales to manage credit risk and resolve billing or pricing disputes Improve invoicing, cash application, and dispute resolution processes Oversee write offs, credits, and account adjustments Accounts Payable Oversight Ensure timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices and payments Maintain accurate vendor records and payment details Monitor and report on AP activity and trends Process Improvement and Systems Identify opportunities to streamline and improve AR and AP workflows Drive automation and efficiency using Epicor P21, DocRecord, or similar systems Strengthen internal controls, policies, and approval processes Partner cross functionally to implement system enhancements and improve adoption Improve invoice processing accuracy and turnaround time Treasury and Cash Flow Support Monitor daily cash activity and resolve discrepancies Analyze trends in collections and payments to support planning Support cash flow forecasting and working capital initiatives Team Leadership Lead, coach, and develop AR and AP team members Set clear goals and expectations and support team success Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement What You Bring 3 to 5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, or both in a high volume environment At least 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred Experience with ERP systems such as Epicor or similar platforms Strong Excel skills and overall technical proficiency Solid understanding of how AR and AP impact the general ledger and financial reporting Strong analytical and problem solving abilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Highly organized with strong attention to detail Ability to manage priorities and lead in a fast paced environment Education Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience Why Join Us Opportunity to make a direct impact on cash flow and operational performance Collaborative, team oriented environment Ability to drive meaningful process improvements Competitive compensation and benefits package Additional Information This role operates in a professional office environment and may require occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds.
