About the Position

Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year required License: Active nursing license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS Must-Have: Floating, weekends, and holiday availability required. Experience with the Epic charting system required. Description: Seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse for a travel position. The shift schedule is 3x12 hours on Sunday, Wednesday, and Thursday nights. Nurses will be expected to float as needed. No call duty is required. Patient care will include adults and geriatrics with a focus on trauma cases. Nurses will manage a patient ratio of 1:1. Key responsibilities include administration of blood products, infection control, and various surgical procedures. Experience with charge nursing is preferred. Candidates with prior trauma experience are encouraged to apply. The ideal candidate should be proficient in specimen handling and surgical protocols.
