Registered Nurse – Part Time Location: Marble Falls, Texas Pay Rate: $50.00‑$55.00 per hour Job Summary Seeking Private Duty Registered Nurses to provide in‑home care to retired Nuclear and Federal Workers, including those from DOE facilities and federal employees such as US Postal Workers. The role involves one patient per shift, allowing focused and consistent care. Clinical Areas Palliative Care IV Therapy Diabetes Care Alzheimer's and Dementia Medical Gases Observation and Assessment related to patient’s medical challenges and symptom fluctuations Teaching and Training Activities Responsibilities Demonstrate efficient teamwork with staff. Demonstrate organizational and time‑management skills. Perform nursing procedures according to agency policy and procedures. Work under the direction of an RN Case Manager and Director of Nursing. Monitor reactions and patient progress using observation, assessment, and evaluation skills. Educate patients and family members on disease process, medications, POC, treatment options, and home‑care procedures according to the plan of care. Report adverse findings to physician and RN Case Manager. Follow state regulations. Complete clinical notes for each visit and incorporate them into a daily record. Coordinate and monitor patient care and services. Comply with HIPAA regulations. Follow infection control policy. Transport patients to doctor appointments, grocery stores or pharmacies. Document skilled visits accurately; complete documentation by the end of each shift; notify Case Manager if unable to complete. Maintain patient records per policy and procedures. Participate in in‑services, workshops, seminars, and self‑study courses. Qualifications Graduated from an accredited school of professional nursing. Current Texas RN License. Current BLS Certificate. Shifts Part‑time or per diem shifts: 7 am–7 pm or 7 pm–7 am. Efficient function in a home setting with frequent travel to a variety of locations. Able to lift 50 pounds. Work sometimes in homes with moderate noise, controlled temperature, or hazardous substances. Travel to patient homes with varying environmental conditions.
