Culinary Operations Internship

Our Culinary Operations Internship is designed for individuals seeking hands-on experience in a professional kitchen environment. This role provides exposure to daily kitchen operations, food preparation, sanitation standards, and teamwork within a fast-paced, high-quality restaurant setting. Interns will work alongside experienced culinary professionals to develop foundational skills and gain a deeper understanding of kitchen operations.

Program Details:

8, 10, or 12 week duration (depending on intern needs)
This intern will be supporting our 1933 Lounge Fishers team
Internships typically begin the first week of June (flexible based on intern needs)

What you will do:

Assist with basic food preparation including chopping, portioning, and ingredient organization
Support line cooks and chefs during service to ensure timely and accurate dish execution
Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations in accordance with health and safety standards
Participate in receiving, storing, and rotating inventory
Observe and learn proper cooking techniques, plating standards, and kitchen workflows

Job Requirements:

Must be pursuing a degree (or certificate) in culinary arts, hospitality, or restaurant operations
Previous kitchen experience is a preferred but not required
