ASSISTANT/ASSOCIATE TEACHING PROFESSOR

Position Overview The Smeal College of Business at The Pennsylvania State University (University Park, PA) invites applications for Assistant or Associate Teaching Professor positions beginning in Fall 2026. Position Specifics Term position; length to be discussed during the interview process and continuation may depend on university need, performance, and availability of funding. Approval of remote and hybrid work is not guaranteed regardless of work location. On-site teaching is an essential function of the job. Responsibilities The successful candidate will: Teach courses in business communication. Support the teaching mission through regular office hours, student counseling and advising, involvement in student extra‑curricular activities, and academic administration. Qualifications Advanced degree in communication or related areas. Preferred candidate will have relevant industry experience and experience in communication. Competitive contract structure, including term, salary, and benefits, will be commensurate with the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience.
