Live-In Caregiver

Caregiver Position36 hours/week (Three 12 hr shifts)Pay: $283.50 for each 12hr shift ($850.50/week)Location: BurlingameDays/Hour: Monday/Thursday/Fridays 8am to 8pmDescription of Client & Care Needs:Female client with personal care needs include showering, dressing (standby assist) and emptying the catheter bag. Going for outdoor walks, companionship, light housekeeping, supervision for safety when she walks with her walker (fall risk). Care professional with a car is preferred to take her to appointments on occasion.Required Qualifications and Skills:Caregiving experience in the following areas:Personal Care: Incontinence, bathing, dressing, hygiene, and grooming.Companion Care: Supervision, safety, and engagementMeal Planning and Preparing: Preparing food and help with feeding.Light Housekeeping: Laundry, making beds, kitchen, and bathrooms.Transportation: Driving clients to appointments and errands.Other Requirements:Must be comfortable using mobile apps.Organized and able to multi-taskMust present a professional appearance and demeanor.Good verbal and written communication skills, and able to hold an engaged conversation.Valid driver's license, clean driving record, reliable car, and auto insuranceDesired Skills and CredentialsRegistered Home Care Aid (HCA) with the state of CaliforniaCaregiver Training skills (training others to provide care)Cooking /Homemaking skillsState HCA Registration requiredCalifornia Home Care Aide License (we can help you with the process)Tuberculosis (TB) test within 2 yearsFingerprint & Criminal Background CheckCall or email your resume today to: View email address on click.appcast.io SYNERGY HomeCare of Silicon Valley, we believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to live a purposeful, connected, and healthy life.
