We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Insurance Intern to join our growing team in Nashville. This hybrid internship offers hands-on experience in the insurance industry while providing exposure to client relations, policy administration, sales support, and business operations. This position is ideal for individuals looking to be mentored within the insurance field while gaining the knowledge and support needed to pursue their Health and Life Insurance License.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with processing insurance applications, policy updates, and client documentation
• Support the sales and customer service teams with administrative tasks
• Conduct follow-up communication with clients regarding policy information and renewals
• Maintain accurate records and data entry within company systems
• Assist with preparing quotes, reports, and presentations
• Research insurance products, market trends, and competitor information
• Help coordinate appointments, meetings, and client outreach efforts
• Provide excellent customer service through phone, email, and virtual communication
• Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and ongoing professional development

 

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a college or university program preferred, but not required
• Open to individuals seeking a career transition into insurance, business, or financial services
• Interest in obtaining a Health and Life Insurance License
• Desire to learn from experienced insurance professionals through mentorship and training
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and general computer skills
• Professional attitude with a willingness to learn
• Previous customer service, administrative, sales, or hospitality experience is a plus
