Private Wealth Client Associate

Job Description Merrill Wealth Management is a leading provider of comprehensive wealth management and investment products and services for individuals, companies, and institutions. Our Wealth Management team values diverse backgrounds and experiences, fostering resilience, leadership, and innovation that strengthen our workforce and positively impact the communities we serve. **Position Overview** This role provides client service support to one or more Financial Advisors (FAs). Key responsibilities include supporting enterprise strategic objectives, operational excellence goals, and client advocacy within the FA’s business, while customizing solutions based on their specific needs. The associate serves as the primary point of contact within Merrill to address all service needs of clients. The Westmoreland Group is seeking an experienced Client Associate to support Senior Relationship Managers in delivering exceptional client service. Duties include new account onboarding, processing wire transfers, completing journal entries, managing householding requests, and overseeing banner and de‑banner activities. Experience with complex account openings, including RCMA and RCMA II accounts, Salesforce, and WebEx Softphone is strongly preferred. Responsibilities Provide excellent client service by educating clients on all banking offerings. Ensure timeliness, accuracy, and completeness in client materials and follow up on all client and FA requests. Assist in ensuring practices align with bank policies and procedures to support operational excellence and risk management. Identify, deepen, and maintain client relationships by emphasizing the bank’s offerings and encouraging banking integration into day‑to‑day practices, communicating outcomes to the FA. Support day‑to‑day team activities, including covering roles during absences or seasonal demand, with a client‑first mindset. Required Qualifications Enthusiastic, highly motivated self‑starter with a strong work ethic and focus on results. Demonstrates a client‑centric mindset, always acting in the best interest of the client. Ability to learn and adapt to new information and technology platforms. Desired Qualifications Currently holds or is pursuing FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7, and/or Series 66 (63 and 65 accepted in lieu of 66). Possesses industry knowledge and an understanding of investment products. Experience working with clients, quickly fulfilling their needs, delivering complex solutions, and providing an excellent client experience. Comfortable operating in a fast‑paced environment with evolving responsibilities. Detail oriented. Committed to continuous learning and professional growth. Exhibits sound judgment and discretion when handling sensitive information. Strong computer application skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Salesforce. Professional verbal and written communication skills.
