Job Title: Task Lead and Senior International SOF Support SME

Place of Performance: Onsite at HQ USSOCOM, MacDill Air Force Base, Tampa, Florida

Security Clearance: Current DoW Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.

Education:

• Master’s degree in international relations or related field
• Graduate of School of Advanced Military Studies (SAMS) or equivalent military planning course.
• Advanced professional experience may be substituted for education upon contractor intent to substitute

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversees day-to-day management and administration of all contract activities supporting the J3 International Division
• Develops detailed work plans, staffing schedules, and operational timelines aligned with J3 I mission objectives
• Assigns responsibilities to contractor personnel and ensures quality assurance of all deliverables
• Provides senior level expertise, advice, and insights regarding international Special Operations Forces support across the J3 I enterprise
• Supports J3 I leadership with strategic planning, program management, and alignment with Commander USSOCOM priorities
• Maintains timely and accurate global awareness of partner nation SOF capabilities, activities, and operational requirements
• Assists in integrating partner nation SOF capabilities into planning, operations, crisis response, and readiness events
• Develops measures of performance and measures of success for J3 I programs
• Mentors international SOF officers and senior enlisted personnel on USSOCOM culture, components, and operational headquarters
• Coordinates contractor travel, surge support, and operational readiness
• Prepares executive level briefings, reports, and planning documents
• Performs close out and escort duties in accordance with J3 I Security Procedures

Experience:

• Ten years of experience supporting SOF operations, international SOF integration, or joint operational planning
• Experience leading teams in high tempo operational environments
• Experience supporting senior military leaders with strategic planning and multinational coordination
• Senior (O5 or above) Army Special Forces officer with 15 years combined experience in operations and PN development at O6-command, TSOC, or NATO SOF HQ level. 
• 1-year recent (last 5 years) combat/operational experience as part of combine joint special operations task force or TSOC staff
• Minimum 1 year of experience working with coalition SOF partners
• Joint Professional Military Education Level II or equivalent graduate

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Teams, and SharePoint
• Experience preparing executive level briefings, operational reports, and strategic planning documents
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for senior leader engagements
• Ability to analyze SOF operational data, partner nation capabilities, and multinational planning inputs

Preferred Qualifications:

• Former SOF officer or senior enlisted
• Experience working within USSOCOM, TSOCs, or NATO SOF headquarters
• Experience mentoring international military personnel
• Experience supporting multinational planning forums such as GSOS, TRSF, or SCAF
