Structural Project Engineer

Structural Engineer (EIT) | North Bethesda, MD | 1–3 Years Experience

About the company:

We’re partnered with a highly respected structural engineering firm in the North Bethesda area looking to add an early-career Structural Engineer to its growing team.

This is a hybrid opportunity offering hands-on building design experience, strong technical mentorship, and a clear path toward greater project responsibility and PE licensure.

What you'll be doing:

Performing structural analysis and calculations
Supporting design of steel, concrete, masonry, and cold-formed steel structures
Preparing structural drawings, details, and construction documents
Working with Revit and BIM throughout project delivery
Coordinating with engineers, architects, and other design professionals
Reviewing RFIs and construction submittals
Supporting projects from design through construction

What we're looking for:

1–3 years of structural engineering experience
EIT certification required
Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
Building design experience preferred
Knowledge of steel, concrete, masonry, seismic, and wind design
Experience with Revit and structural analysis software
Familiarity with RISA, RAM, ETABS, SAP, or similar programs
Strong communication and collaborative skills
