Collections Specialist (Hybrid)

Job Description Collections Specialist (Hybrid) JobFinders Employment Services is seeking a detail-oriented Collections Specialist for a full-time, long-term contract opportunity. This hybrid position is ideal for someone with Accounts Receivable experience who enjoys problem-solving, customer communication, and working both independently and as part of a team. Pay & Schedule $20.00 per hour Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Hybrid Schedule: Work remotely on Mondays and Fridays, with in-office work Tuesday through Thursday. Location: Central Missouri What You'll Do Manage a portfolio of customer accounts and prioritize collection activities. Review outstanding receivables, identify account issues, and help develop solutions. Communicate with customers regarding past-due balances and payment arrangements. Research and resolve billing discrepancies, short payments, chargebacks, and other account concerns. Perform account reconciliations, process credit holds and releases, and assist with bad debt recommendations. Collaborate with internal departments to resolve account issues efficiently. Maintain accurate account documentation and provide regular progress updates. Qualifications At least 2 years of Accounts Receivable experience . Previous collections or credit experience is preferred. Strong communication and customer service skills. Basic to intermediate Microsoft Excel skills. Experience with ERP/accounting software is a plus. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field is preferred but not required, with relevant experience. Why Apply?
