We are devoted to providing the best work experience and benefits possible for our team members through the below offerings.Come join our team on the Island of Much More!Landscaper Job Responsibilities:Greets members, guests with a smile, and takes care of their needsWeeds and prepares soil for plantingRakes and/or uses leaf blower to clear debrisDigs and plants as directedMows using walk mower and riding mower as appropriateRepresents the club with the utmost of professionalismCleans maintenance area and equipment dailyFollows safety guidelines described in the operating procedures and practices behavior that ensures the safety of the employee, co-workers, members, and guestsComplies with departmental and Club appearance standardsWorks variety of shifts, as needed to include weekends and/or holidaysComplies with departmental and Club policies and proceduresPerforms all other duties as assignedLandscaper Job Qualifications:Must have valid driver's license to operate Club vehicleHigh School Diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred1 year of landscaping, groundskeeping, or outdoor maintenance experience preferred; experience in a club, resort, or commercial property setting preferredBasic knowledge of landscaping practices, including mowing, trimming, planting, pruning, and weed controlBasic understanding of irrigation systems and outdoor water management (preferred, not required)Landscaper Critical Skills:Knowledge of mowing, edging, trimming, pruning, planting, mulching, and general landscape upkeepUnderstanding of plant health, proper watering techniques, seasonal care, fertilization, and pest awarenessSkilled in safely using lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, hedge cutters, and basic irrigation toolsAbility to maintain clean, well-manicured grounds with a high standard for aestheticsAbility to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, lift heavy objects, and follow safety protocolsEfficiently prioritizes daily tasks and completes work with minimal supervisionIdentifies issues such as irrigation leaks, plant health concerns, or safety hazards and communicates them promptlyWorks effectively with grounds staff and other departments to support property appearance and operational needsConsistently arrives prepared, uses equipment responsibly, and maintains assigned areas with careReliable, punctual, and able to maintain a consistent work scheduleEqual Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
