A Producer Agent position with our agency offers you endless opportunities within our company, Farmers Insurance and the insurance industry. We provide you with training, a licensing stipend, and prospects in order to position you to solicit, propose, and advise on the insurance portfolios of individuals and businesses.

Is prior insurance sales experience required?

No! You don't need to know anything about insurance or insurance sales to apply. We provide all of the product and sales training that you'll need to be successful!

What can I reasonably expect to make in the first year?

If you follow our sales process, at the very least you can expect to make $70,000 in your first year with your base salary, commission, and bonuses.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Sell auto, home, renters, umbrella, and life insurance products

Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate coverage solutions

Generate new business through outbound calls, referrals, networking, and leads

Cross-sell and upsell to existing clients

Maintain accurate client records and policy documentation

Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales goals

Provide excellent customer service and follow-up

Requirements

Qualifications

Sales or customer service experience preferred (insurance experience a plus)

Strong communication, persuasion, and relationship-building skills

Self-motivated, organized, and results-oriented

Comfortable with outbound sales and follow-up

Ability to obtain and maintain required licenses:

Property Casualty Insurance License

Life Health Insurance License

Clean background per insurance carrier requirements
