RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour weekend night shifts (Friday, Saturday, Sunday or Saturday, Sunday, Monday)
• Resource Pool position covering ALL Med/Surg/Stepdown/Tele units at facility
• Patient ratios: 1:3 for Stepdown and 1:6 for Med/Surg/Tele
• Each unit accommodates up to 34 beds
• Must be well-rounded and strong in Stepdown, Neuro, Ortho, Trauma, General Medicine, and Oncology
• Epic charting system experience required
• Level 1 trauma experience and travel experience preferred
• Required certifications: ACLS (AHA) and BLS (AHA)
• Royal blue scrubs required
• Driver's license address must be outside 50 miles from facility
• Can only submit to 1 position at a time across entire health system
• 2 shifts cancellation policy per 13-week contract
• Units include: Med/Surg floors, Stepdown units, Neuro units, Trauma/General Surgery, Ortho/Neuro, Surgical Oncology, Medical Oncology, Long-term antibiotic infusion, and Epilepsy Monitoring Unit

This major academic medical center serves as a Level 1 trauma facility providing comprehensive acute care services. The facility operates multiple specialized units including medical/surgical floors, stepdown units, neurosciences, orthopedics, trauma surgery, and oncology services. The organization utilizes Epic charting system and maintains high standards for patient care across all departments, serving as a regional referral center for complex medical cases.
