FYZICAL Hurstbourne Town Center, part of FYZICAL Therapy and Balance Centers, is hiring a full-time Physician Liaison to build and grow our physician and community referral network in Louisville. This field-based role is ideal for a relationship-driven professional who enjoys healthcare business development, meeting physicians and office teams, and directly contributing to clinic growth.

This is an independently owned, founder-led FYZICAL clinic - not a corporate environment. Our owners are hands-on, accessible, and deeply invested in building strong relationships with the local healthcare community and delivering exceptional patient care.

Position Overview

The Physician Liaison serves as the primary relationship bridge between FYZICAL Hurstbourne Town Center and local physicians, medical practices, referral coordinators, healthcare organizations, and community partners. This role is responsible for developing trusted relationships, increasing qualified patient referrals, strengthening awareness of the clinic's services, and helping drive sustainable clinic growth.

Key Responsibilities

Physician & Referral Development

• Build and manage a targeted territory of physician practices, medical offices, and other referral sources
• Conduct regular in-person visits with physicians, practice managers, referral coordinators, and office staff
• Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with referral partners
• Communicate the clinic's services, patient access, and treatment capabilities clearly and professionally
• Increase qualified patient referrals and support overall clinic volume growth
• Identify new referral sources and business-development opportunities through market research and referral data

Growth, Tracking & Community Engagement

• Develop and execute physician outreach, relationship-building, and community marketing plans
• Track outreach activity, referral trends, conversion, and clinic volume using CRM and referral-management tools
• Maintain consistent follow-up with referral partners through office visits, phone calls, email, and other appropriate communication
• Work closely with the clinical and administrative teams to coordinate referral outreach and patient access
• Gather feedback from referring providers and participate in relevant healthcare networking and community events

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; relevant professional experience may substitute
• Experience in healthcare sales, physician relations, medical marketing, business development, pharmaceutical or medical-device sales, or another relationship-driven role preferred
• Strong relationship-building skills and a professional, credible presence with physicians and medical-office staff
• Goal-oriented and comfortable working toward referral, activity, and clinic-growth objectives
• Excellent organization, follow-up, time-management, verbal, and written communication skills
• Valid driver's license, reliable personal vehicle, and willingness to travel throughout the assigned local territory
