Nurse Practitioner - Cardiology Profession: Nurse Practitioner Specialty: Cardiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 0730-1630 Experience: Greater than 2 years in Cardiology or similar experience required. License: Active Virginia license required. Certifications: Active ACLS, BLS, and DEA required. Must-Have: Board Certified in Advanced Practice Clean background with no malpractice or license issues Description:This is a locum position for an inpatient Nurse Practitioner specializing in Cardiology.The position is Monday through Friday.The Nurse Practitioner will manage new patients, follow-up visits, rounding, documentation, discharge planning, and coordination of care.Call coverage is required, with a ratio of 1:3 or 1:4 and an average of 2 hours of callbacks.The patient population is adults and geriatric patients, with an average of 10-15 patients per day based on hospital volume.The electronic medical record system utilized is EPIC.Candidates must be willing to work independently alongside an Interventional Cardiologist.No leadership position or teaching responsibilities are required in this role.Credentialing is estimated to be completed as soon as possible.Travel reimbursements for airfare, lodging, and mileage at the IRS rate are approved.A clean background and no malpractice or license issues are non-negotiable requirements. #J-18808-Ljbffr Cynet HealthStaff
