Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Paint Operations Specialist to join the team based out of Salt Lake City or West Jordan, Utah. Our team is currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels, including Entry-Level and Associate Paint Operations Specialist. We are seeking an experienced aircraft or automotive painter who demonstrates strong attention to detail, with expertise in precision masking and mixing materials, and proficiency in spray finishing topcoats and primers. Position Role: Paint Operations Specialist Location: Salt Lake City or West Jordan, Utah Related experience: Entry-Level and Associate positions available Position Responsibilities Prepares test articles, fixtures and data collection devices to perform various tests Performs basic organic chemical conversion and paint preparation Applies routine organic coatings for corrosion protection and appearance requirements Works on articles of limited complexity following established drawings and requirements Proficiency in using gravity feed HVLP (high volume low pressure) spray equipment Ability to perform equipment cleaning tasks Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience) 3+ months of experience in Aerospace, Fabrication, or Manufacturing experience Ability to work any shift based on the needs of the operation Ability to lift up to 35 pounds Ability to perform physical activities such as climbing, bending, kneeling, and lifting Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience) Experience with Lean Principles (Continuous Improvement, Standard Work, and 5-S tools) Experience managing or working with safety, quality, and manufacturing performance data Conflict of Interest Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process. Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
