Must have:

• Board Certification (BCBA): This is a mandatory requirement and the foundation for the role.
• Behavioral Analysis Expertise: Profound understanding and experience in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), including conducting functional analyses, assessments, and implementing behavior acquisition and reduction procedures.
• Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication to collaborate with families, other professionals, and staff. This includes the ability to train and guide Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs).
• Collaboration & Teamwork: Ability to work effectively with families, interdisciplinary teams, and other service providers to create integrated intervention strategies (e.g., within IEPs, ISPs).
• Supervision & Training: Providing oversight and guidance to RBTs and other staff while ensuring proper training on behavior intervention strategies.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of HIPAA laws, state and federal regulations, and accreditation standards to ensure compliance.

Can you describe a challenging case where you had to develop and implement a behavior intervention plan? How did you assess the client's needs, collaborate with the family and other professionals, and ensure the plan was effectively followed and adjusted over time.
