Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist
A Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist who in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team develops a plan of care for each therapy patient and provides skilled recreational therapy services in accordance with physician orders.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least one year of current experience in Recreation Therapy preferred
- Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) per state/client requirement
- Water Safety and Health Fitness Instructor certifications preferred
- Current CPR if applicable
- TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
- Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
